Sophia-Antipolis / France

An inspiring and different place, the heart of the French Riviera! The main technology park in Europe, it has become a global reference in innovation, research and development. I think it was the first time I was immersed in the French language, I never recovered. Laughter! Sophia Antipolis was designed in 1969 as a center of science and knowledge from France to the World. The technology park was built on a vast and arid plateau and is home to 2,500 companies, today valued at more than 5.6 billion euros and employing more than 41,300 people. I took training at Amadeus It Group, based in Sophia.

The area is not only rich in natural beauty, but also has a cultural and social life enriched by the diversity of its population. It includes parts of the cities of Nice, Antibes and Vallauris and has almost one million inhabitants. Year-round, a range of activities and water sports take place in this region, including sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, sea fishing, water skiing, jet skiing and much more. Sophia Antipolis is home to several higher education institutes and universities that have created a vibrant student community of over 5,000 students.
